Women Microcredit Project

Women in Mwanza work hard running small scale businesses selling vegetables, cereals, fabric, potato chips, assorted household goods and retail shops to support their families and send their children to school. However, they always lack access to capital to boost their businesses and the requisite training & skills to enable them to be resilient. Our women Microcredit project aims to connect marginalized rural women to the resources they need to operate successful businesses and social enterprises through provision of seed funding/small loans of $ 30 to $ 200. We believe that empowering rural women to be able to fend for themselves and their families will enable them earn income to send their children to school and eradicate poverty.
